The Process…
It's really very easy! We create hand drawn graphite, colored pencil, and oil painting
portraits from your photos. That's it! Quick and easy! The pictures are typically photos
you email us thru this site. However, you can send your photos the old fashioned way
to our Orange City home studio. The main thing to keep in mind is that the better the
quality of the photo, the better the portrait. Communication is the next easy step to a
beautiful Portrait. Once you've decided on the photo for your portrait, we gather a little
information about the portrait subject(s) such as eye color, hair color, or any other specifics
pertinent to the portrait. We can also help create any backgrounds you may want to add to
your portrait.

The pricing below reflects a traditional head and shoulders portrait but there may be
additional charges, depending on the extent of detail involved to satisfy your requirements.
We do require a 33%, 1/3 deposit for all portrait commissions with the balance due upon
your approval prior to shipping. We do charge for shipping, but we don't try to turn a profit
on it. We estimate the shipping costs up front and only charge you what it costs us to ship
your portrait safely to you. Usual shipping charges are under $10. We always try to provide
you an accurate delivery date and will work with you to meet your deadlines, if possible.
Again, the most important issue is working from a quality photo(s). The better the photo, the

Q. Can you make one Portrait from 2 or more separate pictures?
A. No problem! We have put together many composite Portraits using multiple photos.
The key is getting good photos. Remember, the better the photo, the better the Portrait!

Q. Will I get my pictures back after the Portrait is finished?
A. Absolutely! We return all photos when you receive your Portrait.

Q. Can I change the background colors or the color of the cloths someone is wearing in
my photo(s)?
A. Sure, that's part of the communication process. We'll discuss clothing and background
colors before we start your Portrait.

Q. How soon can I expect my Portrait?
A. Typically we can have your graphite or color pencil Portrait ready in 4 to 6 weeks.
Oil painting Portraits will take a minimum of 3 months due to the nature of oils and the
drying time required. We will get a little more specific with a delivery date depending
on how much work we currently have on our schedule. We can discuss any deadline you
may have and if possible we'll try to accommodate your requirements.

Q. Does it cost more to have a second or third person in the Portrait?
A. Yes, but we only charge fractionally more for the second and third subjects in the
